# Sort

The `Sort` action reorders the sequence of records based on sort criteria. Any field can be used for sorting in ascending or descending orders. Sorting by multiple columns in sequence can also be done at once.

In addition to the mainly sorting action, there is also a quick sorting option in the right corner drop-down menu for each column.

Be aware that sorting is very computationally expensive and it may take a long processing time when dealing with bigger tables that have millions of rows.
